Book when your dates are fixed. A booking paid at pickup can be cancelled free of charge at any time before pickup, so booking early is not a commitment: it simply holds a car for you. What changes as the date gets closer is not our price but what is still available.
The holiday season in Crete runs from spring to the end of October. July and August are the peak: the island is at its fullest, and our automatic cars are the first to be booked. May, June, September and October are warm and noticeably quieter. From November to March the island is calm, and rental prices are at their lowest.
Two things. Inside 48 hours of pickup a €40 last-minute fee applies, because the car has to be prepared and delivered at short notice. And in July and August the automatic cars are usually booked well before the day. Our prices follow the season, not the countdown — waiting never makes the car cheaper.
Nothing. You do not pay online to book — a name, a phone number and an email are enough — and you pay when you collect the car, by card or in cash. A booking paid at pickup can be cancelled free of charge at any time before pickup, and dates, car and extras can be changed free of charge, subject to availability. Paying online in advance is optional; if you choose it, a different rule applies on cancellation: 50% is refunded to your card and 50% becomes credit for a future rental, valid for 12 months.
Booking for summer 2027? Until 31 March 2027, pickups in May, June, September and October 2027 are 10% off the car’s price. It is applied automatically on the booking form — no code needed.
Not with us. Our prices are set by the season, not by how close the date is, and inside 48 hours of pickup a €40 last-minute fee is added. In July and August, waiting mostly means less choice.
