Toyota's reputation for not going wrong is the reason people ask for this one by name, and on an island where the nearest garage can be forty minutes away that is a reasonable thing to care about. The bigger engine tells where it matters here: pulling four people and their luggage up to the Lasithi Plateau, or joining the new highway west where the smaller turbos need a moment to gather themselves. Being a 2025 car, everything you touch is current — the screen, the driver aids, the way it holds a lane on the long straight sections of the new road. It is a mid-size hatchback, so two large cases fit in the boot and four adults fit in the seats, though not both at full capacity on the same trip. For visitors who want the most recent, most predictable car we have and an automatic gearbox for the bends, this is it.
